Dorothy J. Sluss is Associate Dean at the School of Education, College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia.
Sandra Brown Turner is Director of the Barbara Lipman Early Childhood School and Research Institute at the University of Memphis.
Julie Whittaker is a lecturer at New Zealand Tertiary College. She has a strong background in early childhood teaching. Julie is currently studying towards her MEd and has been contributing the College’s development of a web-enhanced distance learning programme through both professional development and supporting of students in a new web-enhanced programme.
Begoña Gros is a full-time Professor of the Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. Currently she is the Vice-Rector of Innovation at the Open University of Catalonia. Her main field of interest and research includes instructional design, computer supported collaborative learning and e-learning.
Juan Silva is a graduate in Mathematics Education at the University of Santiago de Chile, Santiago, Chile. He works at the University of Santiago de Chile. His doctoral degree is related to computer supported communication in e-learning courses.
Melanie Wong began her career in Early Childhood Education by teaching kindergarten in Hong Kong. Since immigrating to New Zealand she has been involved in different early childhood services and taught a Certificate in ECE for international students. She completed a MEd with Honours at The University of Waikato, exploring settlement experiences of three children from Hong Kong heritage learning English as a second language in Early Childhood Services in New Zealand. Her research interests are particularly related to immigrant children and their families.
